Welcome to 119 on North Boutique!

If you’ve shopped with us for a while, you probably already know that 119 has been through a lot of changes over the years. We’ve grown, we’ve tried new things, we’ve had multiple locations, we’ve closed locations—and through it all, I’ve learned A LOT about owning a small business. (Some lessons were definitely easier than others! 😂)

Today, I’m incredibly happy to call downtown Kernersville, North Carolina home.

Our storefront at 119 North Main Street is filled with women’s clothing, gifts, home décor, baby favorites, accessories and all those fun little things you didn’t know you needed until you saw them. Basically, if you come in for one thing and leave with five…we understand. 😉

But somewhere along the way, I realized something.

I spend a lot of time asking people to shop small and support local. And one day I thought, You know what? I need to do a better job of that too.

So we started our North Carolina section.

We’re bringing in more products made right here in NC and working to support other local makers and small businesses whenever we can. It’s become a part of 119 that I’m really proud of—and we’re just getting started.

A lot has changed in my personal life along the way, too. I’ve now been married for three years, my family has grown and changed, and somehow I still think it’s a good idea to keep adding new projects to my plate. 😂

If you know me, you know sitting still isn’t exactly my specialty.

But at the heart of everything is 119 and the community that has supported us.

Every purchase matters to a small business like ours. So does every Facebook share, Instagram comment, friend you bring into the store, online order and person who tells someone, “You need to go check out 119!”

Those things have allowed us to keep doing what we love.

So whether you found us online from across the country or you’re one of our regulars who walks through the door in downtown Kernersville, thank you.

Come shop. Come hang out. Bring a friend. Laugh with us. And hopefully find something you absolutely love.

Because around here, shopping is supposed to be FUN.
